These Days.

I'm currently in transition. This means I have free time (thus, more blog posts.)  I've been  getting to spend my time going to farmers markets, on outdoor adventures, playing games,  perusing the internet and organizing.

Most recently I have gone on excursions to beaches (Fort Funston, Lemintor, Tennessee Valley), gone on boats (sausalito, ferry and SF sunset ride),  tried Zumba and ridden bikes to marin:
Fort Funston.
Limantour  with the mom.
Tennessee Beach With Tracy
This is the first part of our day, next is the batting cages followed by a necessary iced coffee due to the heat and exerted energy from swinging a bat. Tracy had been my partner crime up until today when she transfers to a full time job.
Tuesday farmers market at the ferry building.

Evening boat ride in the bay

Back to Sf after riding bikes to Tiburon.
There's more. along with outdoor adventures, I've taken up multiple craft projects, organizing, and playing games (I don't mean bored games.)
Some "friendly" competition.

Tracy Kirby doing well.

My attempt at making wine bottle cups. Step one: drying labels off.
Step two: lighting alchohol soaked string on fire. I'm yet to have success.
Planning my next pickling recipe.
Organizing my stamp collection.
Note: the overwhelmingness may have canceled out the organization progress.
Lastly I've taken advantage of museum free days:

Exploratorium.
Installation at MOMA

Heading to the roof top cafe...
Blue Bottle Coffee in the sun.
Of course in the nice SF weather there's time to sit and enjoy coffee in the sun after walking through the MOMA.

All of this pretty much sums up how I've spent my free time. However, there's also reading, creating an apple blog with the bestie and posting to Pinterest. Lastly if you know of any potential jobs, or leads please do let me know.

I agree with Tina Fey

I'm currently reading Tina Fey's book Bossypants. Yes, it has been out more than a hot minute. However, when you've committed yourself to the library and forbid yourself to buy books anymore (part of the unemployed lifestyle) you have to wait your turn. Side note joining the library is one of the best decisions I have made all year. If you know me, you're aware of my disdain for feet. Tine Fey Shares this hatred:
I'm a firm believer in our constitutional right to wear shoes, and I believe more people should take advantage of it.  I never go barefoot during a photo shoot. Even if they say your feet are "out of frame," don't believe them. I know what you're thinking and no, I don't have horrible messed up feet. Maybe my feet are so amazing that I want to shelter them so they can live a normal life. I don't want them to be the Suri Cruz of feet. Did you ever think about that?

Some Things I Like...

Lego Graffiti:

Abstract portraits from blind contour artist - Ian Sklarsky:
I'm taking a beginning drawing class through CCSF's Continuing Education program and we've been working on contour drawings, some blind some not. I was thoroughly impressed and inspired when I came across these blind contour drawings on cool hunting.
